Dreaming

Waking dreams and sleeping dreams
Are all the same to me.
They exist within my mind
And thus do set me free.

Hand in hand we strolled along,
Humming our immortal song.
Fondest memories are made of such,
They bring to life so very much!

We, as parents, may never realize what our children may accomplish in their lives but suffice it to say, they will remember us, as I remember my parents and in particular my mother whose role in life was difficult, in particular in this foreign land of Canada during the Great Depression and the early years of the Second World War, it paved the way for my future.

My mother would have been proud of her three children, her 15 grand children and her many great grand children, with many more to come!  She made a significant contribution to Canada as a county and to the human family of the world peoples. This is one of the great benefits that come from the immigration of warm and loving individuals.

Along with the First Nation Peoples, immigrants have made Canada the nation that it is today.  In this, we can all take a measure of pride and pleasure.
