Louis Reeves was born in Toronto during the Great Depression. He has worked in many areas from farming to teaching and public administration.
He has traveled extensively throughout Europe and North America, where he studied at several American and Canadian universities. He now lives in Ottawa where he received an M.A. from Carleton University.
His first book of poetry will be published this year by Crow Eagle Press.
